Choose a visual style and appearance
Start with realistic or anime styling. Then choose the available age, ethnicity, body, hair and eye options. The visual style affects how the character is rendered; it does not turn the character into a real person.
Keep the design original and adult. Do not try to reproduce an identifiable person without permission or create a character who appears underage. A typed age alone does not make an underage-looking design acceptable.
Set personality, occupation and starting situation
The builder offers seven personality choices, with different conversation styles and intensity. An occupation and a starting scenario add context: what the character does, where a story begins and how she knows your fictional role.
A focused character is easier to understand than one with conflicting instructions. Choose a few consistent traits. If the story starts in a café, establish that setting before switching to another location or role.
Voice is separate from appearance
Choose the voice you want to hear in supported voice features. A visual detail such as hair colour is not an instruction about accent or speaking style.
Real-time calls require Premium and are billed in Hearts per minute. Choosing a voice in the builder does not itself place a call or make calling free.
Before you finish
The ability to create a character and the ability to use every feature with it are not the same entitlement. Custom AI chat needs Premium. Check the plan details before treating character creation as an unlimited free trial.
